This hotel has been styled like a Mediterranean village, with rows of whitewashed, terracotta-roofed buildings.
The grounds are really tropical – palm trees and potted plants decorate the pathways, and balconies are cloaked in bougainvillea.This is the only hotel in Gran Canaria that belongs to the Leading Hotels of the World collection.
It’s got a top spa, interiors dreamt up by French designer, Alberto Pinto, and a restaurant that made it into the 2015 Michelin Guide.There’s a spa, a gourmet restaurant, and a couple of saltwater pools tucked among the tropical gardens here.
The pool bar offers snacks, tapas and and à la carte menu, plus there’s an indoor piano bar for cocktails and local wine.
Finally, you’ve got a trio of golf courses right outside the complex.
