Arena Beach does the simple things well, and it’s fresh from a recent facelift.
Think crisp white rooms with a blue trim, a couple of big pools, and a lobby packed with spongy new sofas.Location gets a big tick from us – on one side you’ve got the island’s famous sand dunes, and on the other there’s a promenade of bars and restaurants.Arena Beach has a pair of swimming pools, including one which is reserved for adults.
There’s also a hot tub and a kids’ pool.
The buffet restaurant dishes up a mix of international cuisine and Spanish fare, and during the day drinks and snacks are served at the pool bar.
You’ll find big TVs in the lobby bar, and there are tables for billiards and ping pong.
Archery, volleyball and darts make up the rest of the activities list.
There’s a playground for little ones, too.
In the spa you can get massage treatments, or head to the gym for a workout.
