Just pop into one of the Tabak shops and buy some local bus tickets, hop on the very regular bus service to Punta Sabbioni and catch one of the frequent ferries across the lagoon to savour the delights of Venice.
Back at the hotel there's a pool for some sunshine, swimming and catching up on that book you've packed but not got around to reading yet! The board here is bed and breakfast, a simple continental affair with fruit, pastries, fresh rolls and other dishes and if you so choose, you can upgrade to go half board or even full board if you want to have all your meals taken care of for you.
